Dance Marathon Fundraising Recap: Nov. 15-17

Between November 15-17, ten collegiate and community Dance Marathon programs hosted their annual events, resulting in a total of over $4.62 million raised #ForTheKids at local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!

This brings the overall Miracle Network Dance Marathon fundraising total to over $41.4 million raised so far in 2019.

Acadia University:

Acadia University Dance Marathon hosted their Dance Marathon event on November 15 and raised over $3,000, benefitting IWK Foundation in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Baltimore Boogie:

Baltimore Boogie is a community dance marathon that takes place at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Md. and is hosted by the hospital’s Teen and Children’s Council, allowing supporters to enjoy the event and fundraise while participating alongside the patients they are supporting. The third annual Baltimore Boogie raised over $45,700, a 6.4% increase over their 2018 event’s total.

Brown University:

Brown University Dance Marathon hosted their first Dance Marathon event on November 16 and raised a total of over $25,000, benefitting Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, R.I.

Indiana University:

Indiana University Dance Marathon hosted their 29th annual Dance Marathon event on November 15-17 and raised a total of $4,187,051.23, a 2% increase over their 2018 total, benefitting Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Ind.

 

Montclair State University:

Montclair State Dance Marathon hosted their Dance Marathon event on November 15 and raised a total of over $16,400, benefitting Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey.

 

Pace University:

Pace 4 Kids at Pace University hosted their Dance Marathon event on November 16 and raised a total of over $11,000, benefitting Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y.

 

University of Cincinnati:

University of Cincinnati Dance Marathon hosted their Bearcatthon event on November 16 and raised a total of $71,278.37, benefitting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

University of Southern Indiana:

University of Southern Indiana Dance Marathon hosted their Dance Marathon event on November 16 and raised a total of $100,027.19, benefitting Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Ind.

Washington University in St. Louis:

Wash U Dance Marathon at Washington University in St. Louis hosted their Dance Marathon event on November 16 and raised a total of over $40,000, benefitting SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Wright State University:

WSU Miracle Makers hosted their 7th annual Raiderthon event on November 16 and raised a total of $58,056.75, a 70% increase over their 2018 total, benefitting Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. The students set their initial goal of $57,170 to represent the programs 7th annual event as well as the 170 beds at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
