2025 Miracle Treat Day Is Almost Here — and One Special Family Can’t Wait to Celebrate

The sweetest day of summer is right around the corner: Miracle Treat Day returns this Wednesday, July 31!

For one day only, participating Dairy Queen locations will donate $1 or more from every BLIZZARD® Treat sold to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, helping kids in our community access the care they need to grow, heal, and thrive.

This year, Miracle Treat Day is especially meaningful for our Miracle Family, whose twin daughters, Elle and Emme, who were born at just 25 weeks gestation with severe brain bleeds and a 10% to 15% chance of survival. While Elle’s condition gradually stabilized, Emme’s journey took a more complex path, one that would eventually include five brain surgeries, a diagnosis of epilepsy and cerebral palsy, and a life-altering hemispherectomy at age six.

Despite it all, Emme is now thriving, solving math problems, cracking jokes with friends, and walking tall just five days after that last surgery. And Elle, ever compassionate and full of joy, has remained right beside her through every milestone.

Elle and Emme are thrilled to return to their neighborhood Dairy Queen — a place they’ve loved for years — to support Miracle Treat Day! From Oreo Cookies to S’mores, every BLIZZARD® sold on July 31 funds critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
